K-Electric has announced a scheduled maintenance shutdown for Friday, August 14, 2026, affecting several electricity feeders.
The planned outage is part of routine maintenance activities and will result in temporary suspension of power supply in areas connected to the listed feeders.
According to the maintenance shutdown schedule issued by K-Electric, power interruptions will take place at different times throughout the day, with most affected feeders expected to remain out of service for several hours.
The Imad Arif feeder is scheduled for a shutdown from 8:59am until 5:29pm. The KDA Employee Society feeder will remain suspended from 9:00am to 6:00pm, while the London Tannery feeder is scheduled for an outage from 8:59am until 6:01pm.
The Perac feeder will face a planned interruption beginning at 8:59am, with restoration scheduled for 5:59pm. The Qaim Khani RMU feeder is also scheduled for maintenance from 8:59am to 5:29pm.
Meanwhile, consumers connected to the Rahim Textile feeder are expected to experience an outage from 8:29am until 5:59pm. The Tawakkal Ent. feeder has been scheduled for maintenance from 8:59am to 5:29pm.
The timings indicate that the duration of the planned outages will vary depending on the feeder, with some areas potentially experiencing interruptions of around nine to ten hours.

K-Electric’s maintenance shutdown schedule is intended to facilitate maintenance work on the electricity distribution network. Residents, businesses and other consumers in areas supplied by the affected feeders are advised to make arrangements in advance and plan their electricity-dependent activities accordingly.
Power restoration times may also depend on the completion of the scheduled maintenance work and network conditions. Consumers are therefore advised to remain prepared for the possibility that electricity supply could be restored earlier or later than the stated schedule.
