LAHORI: The police have sought permission to arrest former federal minister Asad Umar and Imran Khan’s sisters Uzma Khan and Aleema Khan in the case related to the Jinnah House attack and arson on May 9.
According to the details, the anti-terrorism court in Lahore held a hearing on the May 9 encirclement case. The investigating officer informed the court that the accused Asad Umar, Alima Khan, and Uzma Khan had been found guilty during the investigation.
The investigating officer stated that the JIT found the three accused guilty, and the police have to arrest the three for investigation. Aleema Khan was present on the spot while Aleema and Uzma Khan were not named in the case.

PTI lawyer Burhan Muazzam, giving arguments, said that such a statement should be presented in the court on which the accused have been declared guilty. The investigating officer said, “We will show all the statements of 161, after which the hearing was adjourned for some time.”
It should be noted that earlier after the May 9 arson incidents came to light, there was a nationwide crackdown against PTI. The leadership of Tehreek-e-Insaf, including Imran Khan, is facing widespread accusations, cases, and arrests.
