ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police spokesperson has issued a public advisory urging all commuters to exercise heightened caution as intermittent rain and reduced visibility persist across the capital, with Rawalpindi also under weather alerts for localized downpours and fog.

Drivers have been reminded to use fog lights, reduce speed, and maintain safe distances, while motorcyclists must stay in the extreme left lane at reduced speeds. All vehicle operators are required to use side mirrors and indicators when changing lanes or turning, and strictly adhere to lane discipline to prevent accidents.

The spokesperson said Islamabad Traffic Police officers are actively deployed across major junctions to assist and guide motorists. For immediate assistance, contact Traffic Helpline 1915 or Pukar 15.
