Ishtiaq Ahmed’s Inspector Jamshed turned into web-series

KARACHI: CreatorsOne, under the umbrella of Dot Republic Media, is turning popular detective novel series, Inspector Jamshed penned by renowned writer Ishtiaq Ahmad, into a web series.  

The web series adaptation would narrate the exciting adventures of Inspector Jamshed and his kids – Mehmood, Farooq, and Farzana, as they unravel mysteries and solve cases together to save the day.

According to their YouTube channel, the show, produced by Adnan Butt and directed by Fahad Noor, will focus on building locally relevant and meaningful content to empower parents with improving the moral and ethical values of their young ones.

The CreatorsOne had also released the trailer of the upcoming web series, while no release date has been announced yet. The trailer full of suspense, despite being void of dialogues, looks promising and takes us down memory lane.

Ishtiaq Ahmed started writing the series back in the 70s. It went on for three decades with the author penning around 400 novels with these characters. Other than Inspector Jamshed, the novelist has also writtenInspector Kamran Mirza and Shoki Brothers series.
