Will there be a second season?
It is likely that there will be a season 2, however, no official announcement has been made so far.
Moreover, there’s a Variety report that Amazon has received $25 million in tax credits to shoot in California rather than over in New York where the first season was filmed. There are also rumours some filming will start in Toronto in September, but that’s yet to be confirmed.
There’s definitely appetite from the Fallout crew too. Executive producer Graham Wagner told Collider that they had started work on the next season even while they were putting together the season which has just gone out.
When will Fallout 2 roll out?
Based on some back-of-an-iodine-pill-packet maths, and assuming that entirely unconfirmed story about filming starting in September is true, you shouldn’t expect it to arrive before the back end of 2025.
