ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has denied behind-the-scene talks with the establishment and made it clear that if there have to be back-door negotiations, “my demand will be free and fair general elections.”
In a message on the social networking website Twitter, PTI Chairman Imran Khan said for all those who were spreading rumors of my meeting in Lahore, “the reason for our return was the proximity of Lahore.”
He said since Lahore was close to the current location, “and since we had already decided not to travel at night, we went to Lahore,” adding that his only demand for the last 6 months remained the same, i.e. holding of free, fair and transparent elections.

It is pertinent to mention here that moments earlier, Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi was quoted as having spoken about some negotiations with Imran Khan, but not the government at the other side.
