Talking to British media, news of which published on Friday, Imran Khan said “I knew my life would be at risk when I came into politics [26 years ago]. He said “thank to Almighty that I was saved” but insisted that gun attack would not deter his planned comeback.
Imran Khan, it may be recalled, was injured in multiple gunfire attack at his Long March procession on November 3 in Punjab’s Wazirabad. At least one person had died on the spot while 14 others including Khan were injured. Since then, Khan has been under treatment at his Zaman Park residence in Lahore.

Imran Khan said “[My wife] saw me [wave to the crowd] when she turned on the TV. So she thought I was fine. She didn’t realise I had three bullets in my leg.”
The British media report claimed that dressed in a dark grey shalwar kameez shirt and tracksuit bottoms, Imran Khan fidgets and repositions his bandaged leg on a footstool. As he recuperates from being shot, the former cricketer seems tired and frustrated.
