High Court bars two PTM leaders from travelling abroad
PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court bench in Bannu has barred PTM leaders Ali Wazir and Mohsin Dawar from leaving the country.
The PHC bench on Wednesday had conditionally allowed MNAs Ali Wazir and Mohsin Dawar to be released on bail. The detailed orders of the bench were released today which instructed both the leaders not to travel abroad and ensure their weekly appearance at District Police Officer’s office
In the released detail orders, the bench states that the bail was conditional and it was granted only for one month. The bail will be subject to the condition of “good behavior” by the MNAs and before the expiry of the surety bond the accused will have to file a fresh application for the extension.
Justice Mohammad Nasir Mahfooz was leading the single bench of Peshawar High Court, in which he had conditionally allowed bail petitions of the two parliamentarians in the Khar Qamar incident case, has stated that conditional bail for a period of one month only is granted subject to furnishing surety bonds amounting to Rs1 million each with two guaranteers to the approval of the additional registrar of the court.
