ISLAMABAD: Former Energy Minister Hammad Azhar has said that the reason for load shedding across the country is the incompetence of the PDM coalition government.
According to the details, the usual load shedding continues during summer in various cities across the country including Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi. The electricity shortfall reached 6,850 megawatts. For this, Azhar accused the government.
The duration of load shedding reached 14 hours in different areas of the country. Long load shedding for 8 to 10 hours is also being done in different areas of Karachi. The duration of load shedding in Lyari, Baldia Town, Orangi, and Sarjani Town became 10 hours.

Load shedding is also going on in Federal B Area, Kharadar, Shah Faisal Colony, Landhi, and Korangi. K Electric stated that the power cut is being done in areas where electricity is stolen, but Hammad Azhar says that PDM has expelled the professionals from the discus board.
In his recent statement, Hammad Azhar said that PDM recruited political people in the boards due to which load shedding is happening. He also demanded the government to control load shedding.
