The federal government on Friday increased the prices of petroleum products, raising the price of petrol by Rs5.44 per liter and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs31.05 per liter.
Following the latest revision, the price of petrol has been set at Rs316.15 per liter, while high-speed diesel will now cost Rs354.35 per liter.
According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the revised prices came into effect from July 19.
In the last review on Friday July 10, government had raised petrol and high-speed diesel prices by more than Rs13 per liter, pushing petrol to Rs310.71 per liter and diesel to Rs323.30 per liter.
According to a notification from the Petroleum Division, the price of Motor Spirit (petrol) was increased by Rs13.18 per liter to Rs310.17 per liter.
The price of diesel was raised by Rs13.80 per liter to Rs323.30 per liter.
