Gold prices in Pakistan climbed on Wednesday, following an increase in international markets, with the price of gold per tola rising by Rs4,600 to reach Rs433,836.
According to rates issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold also increased by Rs3,944, reaching Rs371,944.
The latest increase follows Tuesday’s gain, when gold prices rose by Rs4,700 per tola to close at Rs429,236.
In the international market, gold prices also recorded an upward movement, increasing by $46 to reach $4,114 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices also edged higher in the local market, increasing by Rs7 to reach Rs6,403 per tola.
It should be noted that the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) releases official gold rates at around 1 PM from Monday to Saturday.
