KARACHI: Electricity supply will remain suspended in several areas of Karachi on Friday, November 6, 2026, as K-Electric has announced a scheduled power shutdown for maintenance work.
According to the schedule issued by K-Electric, consumers in various parts of the city may experience power outages lasting several hours, with some feeders remaining switched off for an extended period.
Areas Facing Power Outages in Karachi
As per the utility’s schedule, electricity supply to the 5-C Bilalabad RMU feeder will remain suspended from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, while the Abbas Bawazir RMU feeder will remain without power from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The Adil Murad feeder will be affected from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, while the Al-Maimoon CHS feeder will remain suspended from 10:30 am to 4:59 pm.
Similarly, the Ali Gohar feeder will face a shutdown from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. Electricity supply to Al-Shifa Clinic will remain suspended from 9:01 am to 5:00 pm, while the Anamta Society feeder will be affected from 8:59 am to 4:59 pm.
The APWA College (Old Government School) feeder will remain without electricity from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, while the Bare Wala RMU feeder will face an outage from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Other affected feeders include Bijli Nagar, Chakra Goth RMU, Chapal Luxury, Dar-ul-Falah, Dar-us-Salam, Defence-02, Eastern Services, Friends, Ganhwar Khan Gabol, Geological Survey, Hanif Shah, Haroon Heights, Hayat Regency and Hotel Mehran.
More Areas to Experience Scheduled Power Cuts
The International Ceramic feeder will remain suspended from 8:00 am until 11:59 pm, making it the longest scheduled outage in the announced list.
The Ismailia Flats feeder will face a shutdown from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, while the Jamal Industry feeder will remain without electricity from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
The Khas Traders feeder will be affected from 11:39 am to 6:59 pm, while the Khurramabad feeder will remain suspended from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Meanwhile, the Malik Chowk RMU feeder will face an outage from 9:59 am to 4:59 pm. Electricity supply to Mall Residency (Saima) will remain suspended from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm, while the Mehran Town feeder will be affected from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.
The Modern Graphic feeder will remain without power from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, while the Mominabad feeder will face a shutdown from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The scheduled maintenance will also affect Orangi Medicos, Pak Leather, Patni CHS, Pehlwan Goth, Pole No. 56 RMU, Police Society, Quetta Town RMU, Razi Sons, Rizwan Plaza, Rufi Heaven, Ropali RMU, Sector DS/S-3, Shalimar Ice and Shamail Complex.
Additional Feeders Included in the Shutdown Schedule
According to the announced timetable, the Smart High Pressure feeder will remain suspended from 11:00 am to 11:55 pm, while the Surjani Telephone Exchange feeder will face an outage from 8:59 am to 4:59 pm.
The Talha Qazi RMU feeder will remain without electricity from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, while the Tanga Stand RMU feeder will be affected from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
The Umair Ali RMU feeder will face a shutdown from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Similarly, electricity supply to the Usman Hospital feeder will remain suspended from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The Yusuf Industry feeder will be affected from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, while the Zaman Textile feeder will remain without power from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Consumers in the affected areas have been advised to take necessary precautions and plan their daily activities accordingly.
