Gold prices in Pakistan saw an increase on Wednesday, rising by Rs500 after remaining stable for the past two sessions.
The price of gold per tola reached Rs306,500 in the local market, while 10-gram gold was priced at Rs262,774, reflecting an increase of Rs429, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Tuesday, the price of gold per tola had held steady at Rs306,000.
Globally, gold prices also rose on Wednesday, with APGJSA reporting a rate of $2,915 per ounce (inclusive of a $20 premium), marking a $5 increase during the day.
Silver prices also experienced a rise, climbing by Rs52 to reach Rs3,440 per tola.
