Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Thursday, mirroring a decline in the international market.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs2,900 to settle at Rs540,362. Likewise, the rate for 10 grams of gold declined by Rs2,486 to Rs463,273, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Wednesday, gold prices had risen, with the per tola rate increasing by Rs3,700 to reach Rs543,262.

Globally, gold prices also moved lower, falling by $29 to $5,176 per ounce, which includes a premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices in the domestic market also registered a decline, dropping by Rs179 to settle at Rs9,175 per tola.
