In the suburban area Meera Tanoliyan on Peer Chinasi Road near the capital of Azad Kashmir, Muzaffarabad, a girl died after falling from a mountain while trying to save herself from the violence of hooligans; one of the hooligans allegedly included a policeman.
According to details, yesterday on Peer Chinasi Road, a girl and her friend were assaulted by a policeman dressed in plain clothes and other hooligans. During the incident, the girl, while running to save her life, fell from a hill and died.
Police have registered a case of the incident and have arrested two individuals, including the policeman who brought the girl to the hospital. According to the police, action is being taken to identify and search for other unknown individuals.
It should be noted that incidents of violence against women and other crimes have increased across the country. Individuals involved in serious crimes often escape severe punishments by taking advantage of flaws in the justice system.
