Previous Session:
The Rupee on Friday appreciated by 11 paisa against the US Dollar in the interbank trading and closed at Rs 284.45 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 284.56.
However, according to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market stood at Rs 287 and Rs 287.5, respectively.
The price of the Euro decreased by Rs 1.48 to close at Rs 332.39 against the last day’s closing of Rs 333.87, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The Japanese yen depreciated by 01 paisa and was traded at Rs 1.93 against Rs 1.94, whereas a decrease of Rs 2.33 was witnessed in the exchange rate of the British Pound, which was traded at Rs 384.97 as compared to the last day’s closing of Rs 387.30.
The exchange rates of the Emirates Dirham and the Saudi Riyal decreased by 03 paisa and 02 paisa to close at Rs 77.44 and Rs 75.84 respectively.
