ROTTERDAM: The first match of the ODI series between Pakistan and the Netherlands will be played in Rotterdam today.
The first match of the 3-match series will start at 2 PM Pakistan time. According to the details, the national squad in Rotterdam had a practice session at the Shedham Cricket Ground yesterday, on Monday due to rain, only the batters included in the national squad did indoor practice.
National cricket team captain Babar Azam will lead the team while fast bowler Shaheen Afridi is unlikely to play due to injury. The squad includes Shadab Khan, Abdullah Shafiq, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Imamul Haq, Khushdil Shah, Muhammad Haris, Muhammad Nawaz, Muhammad Rizwan, Muhammad Wasim Jr., Naseem Shah, Salman Ali Agha, Shahnawaz Dhani and Zahid Mehmood.
Additionally, the remaining two matches of the ICC Men’s World Cup Super League series will be played in Rotterdam on August 18 and 21.
The Pakistan team ranked fourth in the ICC World Team Ranking, is at the fifth position in the points table with 90 points in the ICC Men’s World Cup Super League.
It should be noted that if the national cricket team led by captain Babar Azam wins all three matches in this series, they will reach the second position with 120 points on the points table of the World Super League.
