The lawyers argued in front of the court and said that Azam Swati is an important leader and senator of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf who was arrested only on political grounds and subjected to the worst torture late at night.

The court reserved its decision on FIA’s request for physical remand and immediately ordered Azam Swati to undergo medical at Pims Hospital. FIA officials took Azam Swati and left for Pims. The court has approved a 2-day physical remand.
