ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has filed plea in Banking Court, requesting to form a medical board to examine Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, following his bail in prohibited funding case.

The Banking court earlier today adjourned its hearing on the bail plea filed by former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan in the foreign funding case till Feb 28 in compliance with the orders of the Islamabad High Court (IHC).
On Feb 22, the IHC ordered Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan to appear before a banking court of Islamabad on February 28 in a case of pre-arrest bail registered against him under the Foreign Exchange Act.
The FIA on Saturday filed plea, stating that instead of a cancer hospital, Imran Khan must undergo a medical examination from Polyclinic Hospital (PCH) or Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS).

FIA also stated that PTI chairman had been facing orthopedic problem after surviving assassination attempt, but is submitting reports of Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital; than Khan himself owns.
A decision on the FIA’s plea is pending as yet.
