LAHORE: Senior leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) , Fawad Chaudhry has raised concerns over the growing trend of registering cases in the country.

Speaking to media after getting bail in a case registered against him for holding presser at Zaman Park, Fawad Chaudhry said a staggering 40 cases of terrorism have been registered against PTI Chairman Imran Khan.

He said despite the mounting pressure and legal battles, PTI would not to be deterred by these frivolous cases.
In a shocking turn of events, he said, PTI activists Azhar Mashwani and Shahid Hussain were abducted.

He said “I have been booked in seven cases without any clear reasoning.” Today, he appeared in court to obtain pre-arrest bail.
Highlighting the justice system in the country, Fawad Chaudhry reminded the case of Raymond Davis, an American CIA contractor who killed two people in Lahore and fled the country without facing any consequences.

He added that 800,000 persons had left the country as a result of the current government’s policies and practices, and that the provincial High Courts should be aware of this.
