Kidnappers are demanding Rs28 million per person after four Pakistanis from Punjab’s Gurdaswala village, near Chunian, were abducted in Iran.
The victims, including Mustafa and three of his cousins, were promised jobs in Italy by an alleged human smuggling ring, which lured them into the neighboring country.
The men reportedly paid Rs3.6 million each for passage to Italy, only to be handed over to kidnappers in Tehran, Iran. Shocking videos have been sent to their families, showing the men being brutally tortured and stripped naked. The kidnappers have threatened to kill them if the ransom is not paid.
