ISLAMABAD: The Excise and Taxation Department has seized the seven stolen vehicles in Rawalpindi.
The move came after Department Director Bilal Azam Khan launched a special campaign to recover the export of stolen vehicles. The seized valuables were handed over to the police.
According to departmental sources, the exported vehicles were being listed with the fake registration number.
The owners of the vehicles are very happy with the export while a physical check is being ensured on the change and registration of the vehicles.
It is to be noted that the motorway police earlier recovered the stolen vehicle from Islamabad in a few hours while it was in the process of patrolling.
Last month, motorway police officers near the Patrol Barhan saw a Model 2019 Corolla car parked on the road.
