Researchers have found eating just half a whole egg increases the likelihood of death by seven percent.
According to a foreign news agency, research claimed that eating only half an egg, including yolks and whites, is dangerous health, and eating a whole egg can increase the risk of death by 14 percent. Eggs contain high levels of fat and cholesterol, which are extremely dangerous to health, say, Chinese researchers.
The researchers advised that people should use only egg whites and avoid yolks or use egg substitutes to avoid the risk of death. The research has shown that over-consumption of eggs can lead to cancer and heart disease, but eggs can be used without yolks, which can lead to high cholesterol levels.
Egg whites are free of cholesterol so they can be used, the report added. Cholesterol causes blood clots in the arteries, which can lead to stroke and heart disease.

The link between eggs and health has been debated for years. They have long been thought of as a healthy dietary addition. They are included in many country’s national dietary guidelines. However, the food, specifically the yolk, is high in cholesterol – which is known to be harmful.
Data from the study was published in PLOS ONE, shows 129,328 people who filled out the original form died. However, researchers maintain that blaming eggs alone for an increased risk of cardiovascular disease is a simplistic and reductionist approach to the concept of diet and disease prevention.
