Karachi: CCTV footage of a robbery in Karachi’s PIB Colony has surfaced, showing a citizen resisting the robbers by hitting one of the suspects with a motorcycle and knocking him to the ground.
According to the footage, the suspects robbed a young man who was sitting outside a building near the PIB CSS School, while other citizens fled the scene in fear.
The suspects also held another citizen at gunpoint and snatched his motorcycle.
Meanwhile, the robbers attempted to target a motorcyclist passing through the street. The young man bravely resisted and deliberately struck one of the suspects with his motorcycle.
After falling to the ground, the suspect got back up and began firing, prompting people in the area to disperse. The suspects then fled the scene.
According to police officials, the incident took place at around midnight last night. However, no citizen has lodged a formal complaint or registered a case in connection with the incident.
Meanwhile, incidents of street crime continue to rise in Karachi. On the previous day, two motorcycle-riding suspects allegedly held Muhammad Siddiq, a Hafiz-e-Quran and University of Karachi student, at gunpoint in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 13-D and snatched his motorcycle, an expensive wristwatch and wallet. CCTV footage of that incident also emerged.
