Diplomatic corps visits LoC to observe ground situation
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan invited the diplomatic corps to visit the ground situation along the Line of Control (LoC) on Tuesday.
The invitations were sent to the heads of missions of embassies in the capital to inspect the areas that were attacked by Indian shelling reported last Saturday night and Sunday.

According to diplomatic sources, the heads of missions were invited to visit majorly affected sectors Jura, Shahkot and Nousehri.
Mortars and artillery were used by Indian forces to target the unarmed civilians in the above-mentioned sectors which led to martyrdom of at least five locals and one soldier of Pakistan Army.

Earlier, DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor had sent an invitation to the Indian High Commission to visit the LoC.
