RAWALPINDI: The Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing martyred a Pakistani soldier along the Line of Control (LoC) on Saturday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), The soldier was identified as Nasir Hussain, who hailed from Narowal in Punjab, He had been serving the Pakistan Army for 16 years.
In a statement, ISPR Director General Major General Asif Ghafoor said that the Indian troops resorted to unprovoked fire in Hajipir Sector. Resultantly, Nasir Hussain embraced martyrdom.
He added that the Pakistan Army responded effectively to the attack, engaging with the Indian army posts from where the fire had been directed.
