Poor economic condition of Sindh is a result of corruption, PM

KARACHI: Prime Minister Imran Khan said the issues of Karachi are the responsibility of the Sindh government. However, for the welfare of public, the Federal government is working to resolve the issues using its resources.

While talking to the members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf of the Sindh Assembly, th prime minister further added that the problems of Karachi such as transport, water and waste accumulation are in the knowledge of federal government. It is unfortunate that the issues of economic hub of the country were greatly neglected in the past.

The premier also added that, “The poor economic condition of Sindh is a result of corruption” assuring that, “Local government system will be helpful in the resolution of Karachi’s problems.”
