This weekend of February is filled with tons of intriguing Original Netflix movies streaming on the OTT platform.
‘Your Place or Mine’ is one of three new Netflix releases this week featuring Ashton Kutcher and Reese Witherspoon in the leading roles.
The movie marks the feature-directing debut of longtime writer Aline Brosh McKenna. So should you stream or skip the movie; here is everything we know so far:
Storyline
A romantic comedy in the genre, ‘Your Place or Mine’ begins in 2003 featuring Peter and Debbie, who hooked up once 20 years ago and have been best friends ever since.
This rom-com is about two friends who have very different lifestyles and swap houses and lives for a week.
Witherspoon and Kutcher play Debbie and Peter, split screens show that Debbie lives in a cluttered and colorful Los Angeles Craftsman while Peter lives in a sleek and spacious Brooklyn condo overlooking the Brooklyn Bridge.
She’s a perky and uptight single mother; he’s a handsome guy with commitment issues.
They’re so different! Could they possibly end up together?

The best thing I liked about the movie was how Witherspoon and Kutcher who are in their forties now did not try to act in their 20s. Though both still manage to look quite younger in the movie as compared to their real age, their presence in the movie was something comforting.
