Devastated by Ashiq Qureshi’s death, says PM Khan

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that devastated by the death of one of his beloved friends Ashiq Qureshi.
 The prime minister grieved over his friend’s death on Twitter saying, “Devastated by the death of one of my oldest friends Ashiq Qureshi last night. He was always there during my many setbacks in life.”

The prime minister said that Qureshi was the first person who always stood by him when Imran Khan decided to build Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust.

Imran Khan said that Ashiq Qureshi was a founding member of  Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) as well.
Khan added, “Above all, he will be missed as a gentleman & great human being.”
Earlier today, Imran Khan addressed the Azadi Parade on the occasion of 72nd Independence Day of Gilgit, he reiterated his support for people of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK).
He said, “I will not leave Kashmiris alone, I fill fight their case”, nobody can stop Kashmir from becoming independent.”
