GILGIT: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday said that I would not leave Kashmiris alone, would fight their case.
Addressing the Azadi Parade on the occasion of 72nd Independence Day of Gilgit, the prime minister reiterated his support for people of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK).
Addressing the Azadi Parade on the occasion of 72nd Independence Day of Gilgit, the prime minister said, “I will not leave Kashmiris alone, I fill fight their case”, nobody can stop Kashmir from becoming independent.”

The prime minister added he would continue to raise the issue of IoK across the world as the ambassador of Kashmiris.
He added, “India will see the spirit and more resolve of the Kashmiri people for freedom once it lifts the curfew in the valley.”
While addressing on the occasion of Gilgit and Baltistan’d independence, Imran Khan said that the people of Gilgit had defeated Dogra rule in 1947 by bravely fighting a war to conquer their land. The ancestors also raised voices and freed Skardu and Baltistan in 1948.

Khan said that Pakistan was a special gift from Allah to its people and that it was the first country that was formed in the name of Islam.
Paying tribute to people of Gilgit-Baltistan, he said, “The people of Gilgit-Baltistan would have also become victims of Modi’s oppression if they had not fought the war for their independence.”

The prime minister expressed his confidence that now more tourists would be visiting the Gilgit-Baltistan which would bring prosperity and ensure a brighter future for its people.
