ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry has said that Pakistan would take a decision on Afghanistan together with the world powers.
Fawad Chaudhry said that for the first time modern syllabuses would be taught in madrassas and Quran recitation would also be taught in schools. The prime minister has directed that students will be taught Seerat-e-Bani in 8th, 9th, and 10th classes.
He added that legal action will have to be taken soon on the electronic voting machine. Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Fawad Chaudhry said that he would not decide on the issue of Afghanistan alone. “Peaceful change in Afghanistan is welcome. The Taliban are expected to take care of human rights. It is gratifying that the loss of people in Afghanistan has decreased,” he maintained.

The Information and Broadcasting Minister said that the security expenditure of Islamabad Police is Rs. 954 million, Rs 304 million is spent on the security of the judiciary, Rs 457 million is spent on the security of the Prime Minister, Chief Minister, and Governor.
He added that Rs 105 million was spent on the security of the former chief minister and bureaucrat. Expenditure on the Prime Minister’s and President’s Houses has been reduced, he maintained. He said that earlier people used to declare their houses as camp offices and take expenses from the government.
