ISLAMABAD: The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) said today (Thursday) has announced that the coronavirus vaccination centres across the country will remain closed on Friday instead of Sunday.
In a Tweet, the NCOC – the body that is leading Pakistan’s fight against coronavirus – said that the change in the schedule will be effective starting tomorrow.
From tomorrow onwards, Vaccination Centers across the country will remain closed on Friday instead of Sunday.

On March 20, the NCOC announced that COVID-19 vaccination centres will be closed on Sunday and national holidays like March 23. “All vaccination centers across the country will remain closed on Sundays and National holidays like March 23,” the NCOC added.
Today (Thursday), Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiative, Asad Umar announced that COVID-19 vaccine registration would be open for all citizens after Eid.
According to a report published in a private newspaper, Asad Umar announced the development while speaking to senior journalists. The Minister also termed the next five to six weeks “critical” for the ongoing third wave of COVID-19.
