ISLAMABAD: At least 38 persons were tested positive for COVID-19 across the country in the past 24 hours, while one death was also reported.
The National Institute of Health (NIH) said the number of confirmed positive cases had surged to 1,574,470, while the nationwide tally of fatalities had jumped to 30,628 on Wednesday.
The NIH said that Pakistan had conducted 6,033 tests in the past 24 hours out of which 38 persons were tested positive for the disease. The COVID Positivity Ratio was recorded at 0.63 percent.
