ISLAMABAD: As part of its anti-encroachment drive, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Monday demolished illegal structures outside government flats in Sector G-9/2.
The apex civic agency of the federal capital received reports regarding illegal construction outside government flats near G-9/2. Sources informed that CDA’s Disaster Management Supervisor was illegally constructing rooms outside his government house.
In this regard, DG Enforcement Laiq Ahmed constituted a team under Inspector Usman Lashari and issued orders for immediate demolition of the illegal constructions. “No one will be allowed to carry out illegal constructions in slums and other areas outside government flats,” said Laiq Ahmed.
In another operation, the authority also conducted operations in other areas including Khhana Pull, Bani Gala, Lehtrar Road, 11th avenue, Saidpur, and other areas and nine trucks of goods have been confiscated.
