NAWAB SHAH: In yet another horrific incident, a brother raped his teenage sister three times before killing her and then burned her body in a field.
The heart-wrenching incident occurred on November 14 in Mir Hasan village of district Nawabshah where the body 13-year-old girl burnt to death was found.
Her brother had initially lodged a complaint stating that his sister had gone missing a day earlier while playing outside their house. He said his sister did not return home till night.
Police and rescue officials had rushed to the scene and after a search, they found her body in a wheat field the next day. The body had burnt marks on her hair and arms and was sent to the hospital for medico-legal formalities.

Police started an investigation into the incident and eventually her brother was taken into custody on suspicion of murdering his sister. During interrogation, the suspect eventually confessed that he has sexually assaulted his sister three times.
According to police, the victim was friends with another boy. Her brother came to know about the relationship and started blackmailing and eventually raped her. The suspect then killed her after she resisted and then attempted to burn her body.
Police said the family had attempted to suppress the matter on the pretext of ‘honour killing’ but a case has registered on the directives of the state.
