The London Met Gala aka the British version of New York’s Met Gala, one of the most glittering fashion events of the year, is set to take place next month.
This will be the first time Met Gala will have a British version, drawing renowned celebrities from around the world, The event is a grand showcase of fashion and creativity.
What is the Met Gala?
The Met Gala is a charity event that is considered a fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute. It has traditionally been timed to mark the opening of its annual fashion exhibition.
Where it will be held?
This high-profile gathering will unfold at London’s Royal Opera House in Covent Garden on September 14.
Who will attend the British Met Gala?

Proceeds from ticket sales for the event, which will “celebrate a mix of opera, dance, theatre and fashion”, and donations from philanthropists total more than £1m, according to Vogue.
The full list of recipients is yet to be announced but will be divided into three categories, including larger organisations, small arts companies, and independent artists and freelancers.
