Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra will get the widest release ever for a Hindi film as the movie will release on 8000 screens across the world.
The movie has been thrown open in the USA and yesterday, the ticket sales commenced in India. The same day, the team of Brahmastra promoted their film at a grand event in Hyderabad in the presence of S S Rajamouli and Jr NTR.
At this event, K Madhavan, Country Manager & President of Disney Star, revealed, “Brahmastra is not an Indian film. It will be traveling across the world. We are going to release it in almost 8000 screens – 5000 in India and 3000 worldwide. I think it is happening for the first time.”

Industry and trade sources stated, “Brahmastra will have the widest release ever for a Hindi film. It comes at a time when theatres are starved for content. There’s also tremendous excitement.”
“Hence, the theatres will be flooded with Brahmastra’s prints. Meanwhile, overseas, Disney has all gone all out and have been released in some non-traditional markets too,” it added.
