Undefeated boxer Jake Henty recently shared his heartfelt story of converting to Islam in a podcast episode.
Despite facing challenges, including losing sponsors, Jake remains committed to his newfound faith. He speaks of the profound impact it has had on his life, saying, “I have never had so much love and support as when I became a Muslim.”
Jake, who hails from Sidcup, Kent, UK, had an exceptional amateur career before turning professional, signing with Frank Warren and Queensberry Promotions. As a super welterweight, he won three National titles and represented England in international competitions for five years, accumulating an impressive record of 50 fights with only five losses.
Earlier this year, American boxer Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis also embraced Islam. The 29-year-old former three-division world champion converted from Christianity and still bears a cross tattoo on his right arm. Besides his boxing accolades, Davis is also recognized for his charitable work.
