Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar is facing criticism after a viral video showed her seemingly asking comedian Harsh Gujral to leave the stage during the promotion of Mere Husband Ki Biwi at K.J. Somaiya College.
The incident, which also involved actor Arjun Kapoor, has sparked outrage among fans, who accused Bhumi of arrogance. Many argued that Gujral, who also stars in the film, is more popular than Bhumi and Arjun, with some even claiming he could drive more ticket sales than both actors combined.
The clip has fueled debate on social media, with netizens questioning the actress’s behavior at the event. While Harsh Gujral has not publicly commented on the incident, he may have found the situation uncomfortable, especially given his rising popularity as a comedian.
According to fans, being seemingly dismissed onstage during a major promotional event could have left him feeling sidelined or undervalued, despite being a part of the film. His fans believe he handled the moment gracefully, but it remains to be seen if he will address the controversy.
Many fans think that to address the backlash, Bhumi Pednekar could clarify her intentions, explaining whether there was any misunderstanding behind her actions. A public statement or an interview acknowledging the incident and ensuring there was no disrespect intended could help diffuse the criticism.
She could also highlight her professional relationship with Harsh Gujral to reassure fans that there is no rift between them. Additionally, Bhumi might consider reaching out to Harsh privately or even making a lighthearted social media post to smooth things over.
