Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Aminul Islam has arrived in Lahore to participate in urgent discussions with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the International Cricket Council (ICC), local media reports confirmed on Sunday.
During his short visit, Aminul Islam is also expected to hold separate meetings with senior PCB officials to discuss pressing cricket matters.
According to the reports, the talks will primarily focus on the current situation surrounding the T20 World Cup, as well as broader issues affecting cricket administration and cooperation between the two countries.
Officials said the discussions are also likely to cover bilateral cricket relations, plans for future series between Pakistan and Bangladesh, and strategies to strengthen collaboration between the boards.
The BCB chief is scheduled to attend several meetings in Lahore and will also join an ICC session online alongside PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi.
Aminul Islam is expected to return to Dhaka later this evening, the reports added.
