A manager of a private bank, identified as Asad Khan, has been accused of assaulting an employee of a Subway restaurant in Multan following a dispute over the restaurant’s policy prohibiting outside food.
According to the account circulating online, the incident took place on July 31, when Asad Khan and three companions allegedly purchased samosas from a nearby vendor before entering the restaurant’s dining area. The group reportedly sat at a table and began eating the food they had brought from outside.
Restaurant staff said a waiter politely informed the group that consuming outside food inside the premises was against company policy. The situation allegedly escalated when the customers verbally abused the employee.
The waiter then reported the matter to the shift manager, Fazeel, who approached the group and explained the restaurant’s policy. According to the account, Fazeel requested that they finish their food and leave, stating that he was simply enforcing company rules and protecting his job.
It is alleged that during the exchange, Asad Khan slapped the shift manager. Despite not retaliating, Fazeel was allegedly assaulted a second time near the restaurant counter.
Witnesses claim another customer contacted the police emergency service while the confrontation unfolded. Before officers arrived, the group reportedly asked Fazeel to come outside, saying they wished to apologize. However, once outside, they allegedly assaulted him again. The attack reportedly continued until police reached the scene and took the four suspects into custody.
Authorities have not yet released an official statement detailing the allegations or the legal proceedings. The claims remain allegations unless and until they are established through the legal process.
