Bangladesh beat Pakistan in second women's ODI
LAHORE: Bangladesh women’s cricket team won second ODI against Pakistan by one wicket.
Sources said that the two-match series was squared after the victory of Bangladesh.
The host team chose to bat first and took a decent start. The opening pair of Javeria Khan and Nahida Khan developed good partnership and scored 58 runs.
On the other hand, Bangladesh struggled at 29-2. The partnership Fargana Hoque and Murshida Khatun’s partnership changed the game for the visitors. However, Khatun remained successful and went to pavilion without completing her half-century.

Later, Hoque along with Rumana Ahmed scored 55 runs. The latter scored a half century and went to pavilion. The batswomen from Bangladesh chased the target despite struggling.
Earlier, Pakistan women’s cricket team won T20I series against Bangladesh by 15 runs at Gaddafi stadium, Lahore.
Pakistan chose to bat first but lost first wicket at only 35 runs. Skipper Bismah Maroof along with Javeria Khan successfully led the scoreboard with their half-centuries.
Bismah scored 70 runs with the help of nine boundaries and a six.

On the other side, the partnership between Lata Mongal and Fargana Hoque was not sufficient to win the match and they ended the game at 152-7.
