Karachi: Former President and PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has been diagnosed with maligant pleural effusion, whic is stage 4 lungs cancer and not cureable, a news circulating on social media claimed on Friday while citing doctors. However, the PPP has not confirmed the news yet.
On the other hand, according to the sources,the personal doctors of the former president have rejected the news and claimed that Zardari’s condition is better and he is recovering fast.
Former president was admitted to a private hospital in Karachi on Sept 27 after his health deteriorated. This is the second time that Zardari has been admitted to a hospital this year.
A day earlier, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister and senior PPP leader Bilawal Bhutto has shared an update about his ailing father Asif Zardari and said that his father’s health is improving as compared to the previous weeks.
Bilawal added that there is no need for a surgical procedure at the moment, saying his father will stay under medical surveillance for some time.
Earlier this week, a team of foreign doctors examined Pakistan Peoples Party Co-chairman and expressed satisfaction with his ongoing treatment.
