ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Friday said that the latest audio leak had exposed the hypocrisy of former prime minister Imran Khan Niazi.
“Someone who does not tire of lecturing nation on morality is himself blatantly involved in immoral horse trading. His fraudulent nature is being exposed every day. Niazi’s anti-state actions make him unfit for high office,” the Prime Minister said in a twitter post.
It is pertinent to mention here that, another audio attributed to Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Friday surfaced online, in which Imran Khan allegedly discussing horse-trading to save his government.
In the 54 seconds audio the PTI Chairman is allegdly discussing buying some MNAs.
The PTI Chief is heard saying “48 hours is a long time, several things happening, I am taking several moves from my side which can’t be made public.”
It is not clear who else was present in the meeting where the discussion regarding the party position in the National Assembly took place.
This is the third audio of the PTI chairman leaked during the past couple of weeks following a series of audios of the incumbent government surfaced on social media.
In the previous ones, the PTI leaders could be heard talking about the alleged US conspiracy and how to use it in their favour.
