RAWALPINDI: Army Chief General Bajwa has reiterated his determination to quit the post at the end of his extended term in five weeks.
A private television channel quoted the Army Chief as saying that he has taken the decision of stepping down and this would be evident in the coming days.
He was also quoted as saying that now, the Army would not play any role in politics.
Earlier this month, Army Chief General Bajwa had confirmed his retirement plan while talking to members of Pakistani community in Washington.
