LAHORE: Just days after the harassment incident of Ayesha Akram, another video of women being harassed while traveling in a Chingchi rickshaw has gone viral.
Soon after the video of the incident went viral, Punjab government spokesman Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan said that the accused who was moving along with a woman in a rickshaw would also be arrested soon.
Chohan said the incident would be investigated and the ones who are exposed in the video will not escape and be severely punished.
“No one will be oppressed in the PTI government,” he maintained. On the other hand, IG Punjab also took notice of the incident of harassing women in rickshaw. IG Punjab has sought a report of the incident from CCPO Lahore. The IG Punjab has directed that the provision of justice to the affected woman should be ensured on a priority basis and the process of identification of the accused should be started with the help of Safe City cameras so that she can be punished severely.

It should be noted that another video of the woman being harassed is also circulating on social media. The video shows two women, including a child, riding in a rickshaw.
It can be seen in the video that there was a traffic jam on the road and a large number of youths riding motorcycles were also following the rickshaw. Two motorcyclists were also filming the women. Meanwhile, a young man verbally abused the women and fled.
