LONDON: British-Pakistani boxer Amir Khan has sent good wishes to UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson as he has been hospitalized to intensive care after his coronavirus symptoms worsened.
Amir Khan in a tweet wished a speedy recovery for the UK prime minister and wrote, “Our thoughts & prayers for our prime minister @BorisJohnson.” He added, “Wishing you & your family strength.”

Moreover, the boxer had earlier offered his four-story building to the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) to accommodate COVID-19 patients as part of a fight against the virus. The building was supposed to be a wedding hall and retail venue but the boxer had offered it at a tragic time.
Last night, PM Boris Johnson was admitted to the St Thomas’ Hospital in London after his coronavirus symptoms refused to go away. However, he was tested positive for coronavirus on 26th March.
PM Boris Johnson is the most high-profile world leader to contract the virus. His partner, Carrie Symonds, is also recovering from symptoms but has not been tested.
