Junaid Jamshaid Niazi, who is a model turned actor, became an overnight sensation with his remarkable performance in his debut serial ‘Sinf-e-Aahan’.
Junaid Jamshaid Niazi, who is essaying the role of Kamil, fiance of Shaishta, played by Yumna Zaidi, recently appeared in a talk show, While talking about his personal life, he mentioned that he never thought of being an actor or model. “I was born in an army family. My father was quite strict, he never allowed me to make friends or keep a mobile phone.”
“My father’s intentions were not bad at all but these restrictions left a negative impact on me as I used to get afraid of people,” he asserted. According to Niazi, he became too nervous that he was not able to face people.

“People used to make fun of me,” he maintained. However, after his mother’s death, he started modelling in Lahore. “I started modelling to overcome my fear. My wife was the one who forced me to give an audition for modelling.
“I was unable to give my introduction at that time because of the fear I had in my heart. I had faced a lot of bullying when I started my modelling career as he was overweight,” the actor maintained.
