A novelist Gabriel García Márquez once said, “Nothing in this world was more difficult than love.” This statement is a bitter reality.

The present period is also known as the period of temptation. This is because time passes like blink of an eye and the children and boys to enter puberty with no time.

Particularly the parents of young girls have been heard repeatedly saying that when our girls grow up, we did not know. This is a simple example of the rapid pace of time.

The era of adolescence is filled with passion, energy, and love for the opposite gender. In this period, if a young boy has no affection towards the girl and the girl has no affection towards the boy, his humanity is doubted.

What is Love?

Love is an uncanny and infinite passion that would be unfair to restrict towards a young boy and a girl, because love can also be between brother and sister, parents and children.

Many famous writers, philosophers and intellectuals have penned down on love and wrote millions of words on it. However, even today, there is an endless series of books on love in the form of prose and poetry.

Love is a complex set of emotions and beliefs associated with strong feelings of affection, protectiveness, warmth and respect for another person.

In fact, love refers to this everlasting relationship of feeling, devotion, trust and mutual sentiment, whereby a person is always ready to dedicate all his wealth to his God, the Prophet, parents, relatives, common human beings, even animals.

Difference b/w friendship and love

What is the difference between friendship and love? This question has always been in minds of people for centuries.

Actually, Love is part of friendship and friendship is a type of love. When love can be termed as sacrifice then friendship can be termed as trust.

The difference between friendship and love is that love can be one-sided this means that you may love someone and they don’t love you, but that doesn’t happen in friendship.

If a person says that he is a friend of mine and another refuses, then the refusal will be accepted.

Whether in friendship or in love, feelings are very much present and very strong. 

Love at first sight

Love at first sight means that falling in love with someone after seeing them for the very first time.

The thing to remember is that the love of parents, siblings, teachers or relatives at first sight does not make sense, because those people are with you.

Love at first sight happens with a person whom you see for the very first time. Who you do not know, when meeting him/her for the first time, love is possible at first sight.

So usually this love is between a boy and a girl, while with same genders, no other phrase can be used than friendship.

Bitter Reality

Some people believe that love is nothing but a concept of films and has nothing to do with reality. The fact is that when you look at a person, his or her appearances make you feel good or bad. You make up about 70 to 90 percent of a person’s opinion on his or her appearance.

Not every glitter is gold. It is not necessary that a person who looks good, speaks well, or sits among rich people, is also a good person. Personality analysis requires more than just personality or appearance.

An important fact about love at first sight is that those people who think women are foolish in this regard are wrong. Women’s psychology tells us that they are more interested in personalities and real qualities than faces.

In contrast, males are often quick to make face-to-face decisions, which are often proven wrong. The woman whom you bring home can turn the house into hell instead of paradise.

Another thing is that love at first sight actually based on our personal bias. We all have unconscious biases and to judge someone we just met within a few seconds is very much affected by our biases. 

Love at first sight is 100% based on what the eyes see which cannot always be right. So an individual should reconsider its thinking towards love and should decide well for his life.
