KARACHI: Electricity supply will be suspended at different times in several areas of Karachi on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, according to a maintenance shutdown schedule issued by K-Electric.
The schedule lists multiple feeders across the city for temporary power suspensions, with shutdowns scheduled between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM. While electricity restoration is scheduled for 6:00 PM for most listed feeders, the duration of the outage will vary by location.
Areas Affected by the Power Shutdown
According to the schedule, the affected feeders include 51-C Area, 5-C Bilalabad RMU, Abbasi Nagar RMU, Afnan Duplex, Amjad Ali Wells, Anglow School, Askari VI Sector, Atif Latif RMU, B.D.A., Baray Wala RMU, Behavioral Sciences, Bengal Oil, Beverages, Boat View, Bombay & Co., Cheezalabad RMU, Civic View, Clifton Center, Darakhshan-4, Deghesh Feeder, Falak Noor Masjid RMU, Family Park, Fruit Mandi, Gul Houses RMU, Gulshan-e-Jamal 3 and Holly Wood.
Other affected feeders include Jam Yousuf, Juma Khan, Khurkhera RMU, Landhi-B, M.T. Quran, Machar Colony, Malik Society, Medico RMU, Megatron, Metal Engineering Complex, Naz Ice, Noor Hamza Masjid, Pak Flour Mill, Peoples Colony, PIA Society, Posh Craft, Prem Villas, Rizvia Society, Shafi & Co., Shahrah-e-Quaideen (PECHS Boosting), Shalimar Ice, Sir Syed CHS, Sohail Shamsi, Tawakkal Enterprises, Technical College and United Hospital (Hill Park-2).
Power Shutdown Timings
According to the schedule, electricity supply to the Pak Flour Mill, Posh Craft and Tawakkal Enterprises feeders will be suspended from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM.
The Beverages feeder is scheduled to remain without power from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM, while the Metal Engineering Complex feeder will face a shutdown from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
For most of the remaining listed feeders, electricity restoration is scheduled for 6:00 PM. However, shutdown and restoration times differ across locations, and residents are advised to check the timings specified for their respective feeders.
